Merlin was magical! He spread his charm wherever he went and everyone who met him was spellbound by his beauty and playful personality. Merlin had a sense of humor, too. He loved to play in the sprinkler. He would start by watching the spray of water spin around for a minute or two, then dart in and out snapping at the spray, as if trying to catch it in his mouth. Finally, Merlin would just jump around the sprinkler in glee. He amused many children with his antics and would continue to play his game until he was soaking wet and long after the children had lost interest.
Merlin also enjoyed backpacking and loved to play with toys. He knew all of his many toys by name and would always bring the correct one when asked to fetch it. Merlin was extremely well-mannered and much loved and lived a long, happy life in New York.
Veterinarian, Dr. Chris Camann, owned, loved, and trained Merlin. Although her hectic schedule limited his participation in competitive events, Merlin always earned high scores in the obedience ring while obtaining his CD degree.
