Faith was a remarkable Collie from the onset, and she certainly lived up to her name! While on a walk with her owner in Wyoming, Faith was excited by the sight of of cattle out on the range and wanted to investigate. Her owner lost her grip on the leash and away Faith ran. The leash tangled in the brambles and the collar slipped off–and Faith slipped away. Despite a month long search and numerous ads posted, Faith could not be found. The Wyoming winter was harsh and long. Everyone gave up hope. Incredibly, more than a month later, Faith showed up on her owner’s doorstep, thin, bedraggled, tired, and very hungry. How Faith survived in the wild during the harshest month of winter no one could know. She never tried to visit range cattle again. Faith is twelve years old and alive and well, living with her owner in Wyoming!
