No other Collie tugged on everyone's heartstrings as much as Kingsmark Out of the Blue at Rainshade - fondly known as "Amelia" to all who loved her - and everyone did.

From puppyhood through her senior years, she remained one of the most beautiful, admired, gracious, and adored Collies at Rainshade. Her photos grace books and magazines and her graceful movement and sweet demeanor were surpassed only by her intelligence.

It's no wonder everyone who visits Rainshade Collies asks for "a puppy just like Amelia." She was the quintessential Collie and there will never be another like her.

Amelia is 100% American Collie lineage,  descending primarily from Lick Creek lineage. She is one of the key foundation Collies at Rainshade and is heavily represented in today's Rainshade Collies' pedigrees.

Amelia is certified normal-eyed by the Canine Eye Registration Foundation certificate #CO-541-89-12 and #CO-541-92-52 and is certified free of hip dysplasia by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals certificate #CO-965G38F-T. She was test-bred clear for progressive retinal atrophy.
