Max was top dog at Rainshade Collies for 14 years. Always well-mannered and gentle, this kind Collie “supervised” all the activities at Rainshade Collies, from protecting the family, patrolling the property, guarding the livestock, and babysitting the puppies. Max was the quintessential Collie: treasured companion and perfect in every possible way. He was very dearly loved by all.
Max sired numerous gorgeous puppies during his lifetime. After his passing, we continued to produce puppies sired by Max, by artificial insemination using his frozen semen. Max himself was produced from frozen semen after his sire, Rainshade Blizzard of Awes, was exported to the Baffin Islands.
